The sculpture is sound. There are some areas of very light rubbing, most noticeable to the figure's right thigh and to the edges of the protruding elements, and areas of uneveness to the patina in places, most noticeably the base. There are some very light scratches to the highly polished elements, as well as some light surface dirt. There are small specks of discolouration to the bronze in places, possibly polishing residue. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition. The work is freestanding, with a detached wood base.
