Condition

The sheet appears sound and not laid down. The top edge of the sheet is unevenly cut and the sheet appears to have been removed from a sketchbook. There is a minor, flattened crease to the centre of the right edge and the lower right corner is very slightly creased. There is a small scuff to the centre of the left figure's back. The sheet is slightly time stained, there is some discoloration to the extreme left, right, and bottom edges, and there are a few very minor spots of foxing and studio detritus, including to the upper left quadrant. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in overall very good condition. The work is window mounted and presented in a simple wood frame under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
