Condition
Landscape 246:
Original canvas, the canvas is sound. The stretcher bars are slightly uneven, most apparent in the upper right corner. The canvas undulates slightly on the overlap. There are fine lines of craquelure to the black pigment in places, with a few tiny associated specks of loss. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of retouching.
Landscape 247:
Original canvas, the canvas is sound. The canvas undulates slightly in places on the overlap. There are fine lines of craquelure to the black pigment in places. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition.
