the possibly later-added gilt oklad with embossed robes with pricked floral decoration, chased strapwork border, marked at base with illegible makers mark and assay master ?Lev Oleks, 1889, Moscow, 84 standard, with added cloisonné enamel halos and corner pieces, maker's mark AC in rectangle, and associated title plaque 

Condition

As noted re: title plaque and later added enameled pieces, the halo possibly cut to fit around the Christ Child's face, rubbing to painted surface particularly centers of left and right borders, gesso surface flaking at lower left corner, some loss where oklad touches surface Overall still impressive presentation
