on three pomegranate feet, the scroll handle terminating in a monster head swallowing a figure, the cover later inset with a gilt Queen Christina coin of 1641 surrounded by the names "Christian Sofren Sen, Gotzen / Margarita Lauritz datter Lund / Anno 1671", the barrel with pricked initials and date 1755, 1800, and 1837
Condition
repaired behind two feet and thumbpiece, the coin replaces apparently a cartouche of which the edge remains, cover with small split at edge of flattened dome, otherwise good
