An example of this model titled "Assiette" dated 1883-84 is illustrated in John P. Fallon, House of Barnard, 2012, p. 301, fig. 327, where the two classical female figures are stated to represent Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers, and Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit.
