each piece painted with a named landscape view within a wide gilt neoclassical border, comprising: a fruit stand, six shell-shaped dishes, ten scalloped oval dishes in three sizes, a kidney-shaped dish, two sauce tureens, covers and stands and thirty-three dessert plates, crossed baton and D marks in red, script titles. 57 pieces.
Condition
Some occasional and minor wear to the gildin and some occasional crazing, otherwise in good condition, except:
Fruit stand: has three short fine haircracks running down the rim edge
Six shell-shaped dishes: one has a large restored section at the rim and a short haircrack running down the rim. Another has an approximate 1-inch fine haircrack running down the rim.
Ten scalloped oval dishes in three sizes: Two, each with some discolored crazing. Two, each with an approximate 1 1/2-inch fine haircrack running down the rim edge. One has an approximate 1 1/2 inch by 2 inch restored section at the rim, possibly covering a haircrack. Another with a large restored section at the rim, possibly covering a break.
Kidney-shaped dish: Three fine haircracks, measuring up to 2 inches, running from the rim edge.
Two sauce tureens, covers and stands: one sauce tureen has the handle broken off and reglued. One cover has a large section broken off and restored. One stand has a short haircrack running down the rim.
Thirty-three dessert plates: Four plates, each with some discolored crazing. Five plates, each with a haircrack measuring from 1 up to 3 inches. One plate with two small flat chips to the underside of the rim. One plate with an approximate 1-inch chip to the footrim.
