each piece painted in the center with a gilt-edged panel painted with countryside views, the rim with alternating blue- and salmon-ground cartouches further gilt with stylized flowerheads and foliate devices, comprising: two shell-shaped dishes, an oval shaped dish and eleven dessert plates, red script pattern number 852. 14 pieces.
Condition
There is some occasional very minor rubbing to the gilding, otherwise in good condition, except: one dessert plate has two very short haircracks running down from the rim, another with a curving haircrack running across the base, one plate with an approximate 1-inch haircrack in the cavetto, one plate with some discolored crazing, visible from the back of the plate; another plate is cracked from the rim towards the cavetto.
