Condition

All in overall good condition, except from some very minor rubbing to the enamels as outlined here: 1) The figure of the seated balalaika player with tiny spots of rubbing to glaze on edge of balalaika, hair, and beard; the figure's back with some small rubbing and discoloration. The underside with '15.' in iron red and 'GARDNER (Cyrillic)' impressed in paste. 2) The figure of the standing balalaika player with tiny spots of rubbing to glaze on edge of balalaika, hat, and toes of boots, hair, and beard; the figure's face and back with scattered areas of accretion and discoloration. The underside with '18.' in iron red (faint) and '26.' impressed in paste. 3) The figure of the older woman in a kerchief with scattered tiny spots of glaze loss and with '16.' in magenta and 'GARDNER (Cyrillic)' partially impressed in the paste. 4) The figure of the bread vendor with scattered tiny areas of loss and accretion of dust, with '15.' in magenta red. 5) The figure of the young woman in a kerchief with a pitcher also with scattered areas of rubbing to glaze and accretion of dust, the underside with '15.' in iron red
