Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter and brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some evidence of wear to all four corner tips, and a small irregularity to the canvas on the lower edge towards the right corner, which is likely to be original. Further close inspection reveals some fine networks of drying cracks in places to the black screen, which is in keeping with the artist's choice of media. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
