with wreats and garlands of flowers in curved and foliate scrolls frames, on an ivory, pink and wine color background
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate.
The colors are slightly sunfaded, but some elements are still vivid, as the 'lie-de-vin' purple background.
There are some minute stains but the carpet is in good overall condition.
The carpet is signed 'SALLANDROUZE' and dated 1851.
The carpet has a later lining.
