Composed of cylindrical sections of lapis lazuli, spaced by textured metalwork links set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 480mm, signed Gage, British hallmark, gross weight approximately 474 grams, fitted case stamped Elizabeth Gage.
Condition
British hallmark, and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed Gage. Lapis lazuli deep blue, opaque, with typical inclusions including calcite and pyrite visible to the naked eye. Wear to edges of lapis lazuli sections, and scratches to surface consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total weight approximately 1.00 - 1.50 carats. Metal with areas of discolouration and surface scratches consistent with wear. Secure hook clasp. In good condition.
