Description

Comprising: a necklace, the front links set with pink and blue facetted and cabochon sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, to a flattened curb-link chain, length approximately 380mm, Italian maker's mark; and a ring, collet-set with an octagonal-shaped sapphire and square diamonds, size N.
Condition
Necklace: Italian maker's mark 1813AL. Pink sapphire of light pink; sapphire of light blue; transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, light abrasions to facets and facet edges consistent with wear. Some of the cabochon sapphires with chips and damage consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50-2.50 carats, diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasp. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
Ring: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire weighing approximately 3.93 carats, medium blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, light abrasions to surfaces and facet edges consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50-3.00 carats, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VVS-VS on average. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
