Description

Claw-set with an oval emerald within a frame of brilliant-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, size L1/2, British hallmarks and maker's mark.
Condition
Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 12739, dated 13th May 2016, stating that the emerald measures 11.3 x 7.2 x 4.1mm, weighing approximately 2.45 carats, and has evidence of negligible clarity enhancement.
Ring stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. British hallmarks for London, 2016. Stamped with maker's mark AN. Emerald mid-green, with good saturation, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, with some surface-reaching inclusions. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.70 - 1.00 carats, estimated to be approximately G-I colour, VS - SI1 clarity on average, some with black pinpoint inclusions, as graded in yellow mount. Very good condition.
