Description

Applied with black lacquer, the stylised Chinese character 樂 meaning enjoyment, set with rose diamonds, the push button set with a circular-cut diamond, the obverse textured metal, measuring approximately 75 x 55 x 20mm.

Condition

Engraved to the inside 'Bill 26/10/1933'. Diamond on the push button weighing approximately 1.00 carat, J-K colour, SI clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Damage and missing lacquer in several places, most notable above the push button and to the corners of the box, light scratches to lacquer also. Secure closing. Scratches to metal consistent with wear.
