The rectangular case decorated with geometric motifs set with calibré-cut sapphires, circular- and single-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a mirror and six compartments for powder, lipstick, comb and cigarettes, measuring approximately 155 x 130 x 21mm, signed Fasano, numbered, lipstick holder and comb deficient.
Catalogue Note
Gioielleria Fasano was established in 1928 on piazza Castello, in Turin, by Mario Fasano. In collaboration of his wife, Stella, he created fine objects for an elite and sophisticated clientele. The firm survived the second World War and in 1955 moved to its present location on via Roma. In 1957, their son Dario joined the firm.
