- DIAMOND, SAPPHIRE, ENAMEL, SEED PEARL, metal
Comprising: a pendant collet-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, applied with red, blue and green enamel, accented with cushion-shaped and rose diamonds, to a fine link chain set with seed pearls, length approximately 525mm; and a pair of earrings, post fittings, butterflies deficient.
Condition
Necklace: Chain clasp stamped 10K for 10 carat gold. Sapphire measuring approximately 9.7x6.6x5.2mm, calculated to weight approximately 2.89 carats, dark blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, light abrasions consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Some loss of enamel in a couple of places. Pearls of round shape, green overtones, medium lustre. Seed pearls of grey body colour, medium lustre. Secure clasp.
Earrings. Sapphires dark blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, light abrasions consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Enamel in good condition. Pearls of round shape, green overtones, medium lustre. Butterfly backs deficient. All items with scratches to metal consistent with age and wear. All in good condition.
