Comprising: a pendant designed as a pear-shaped ruby, surrounded by single-cut diamonds, to a fine link chain, length approximately 240mm; and a ring, claw-set with a cushion-shaped ruby, framed by brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, size P.
Condition
Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory reports no. 12905 and 12906, stating that the rubies are of Thai/East African origin, with no indications of heat treatment.
Ring: Ruby calculated to weigh approximately 2.14 carats, dark reddish brown, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some light abrasions to facet edges and surfaces consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50-2.00 carats, estimated colour G-I, estimated clarity VVS on average. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
Pendant: Ruby calculated to weigh approximately 2.0 carats, dark reddish brown, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some light abrasions to facet edges and surfaces consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50-1.00 carats, estimated colour G-I, estimated clarity VVS on average. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
