Catalogue Note

Ref. 3565 was produced for only two years from 1969 to 1971. A small series of this model was made by special order for IOS, the Investors Overseas Services mutual fund founded by Bernie Cornfeld and presented to their best clients, the members of the "IOS Million Dollar Association". Mr Cornfeld was a very dazzling personality who moved his financial business to Geneva in the late 1950s. The empire crashed in 1973 leaving a huge financial disaster.

The present watch is one of the "virgin" watches with no IOS marks on the dial or the case back.

The special belt-like bracelet with buckle were made especially for this reference.
