Catalogue Note
The legend has it that the idea behind the Reverso model started between ca 1930-1931. While travelling in India, the Swiss businessman and watch collector César de Trey attended a polo match in a club of British army officers. One of the officers had the glass of his watch broken during a game of polo thus he challenged de Trey to create a watch robust enough to survive a polo match.
