Catalogue Note

With a Audemars Piguet presentation box.

The story of Audemars Piguet unfolded in 1875 when two young and ambitious watchmakers Jules Audemars and Edward Piguet, aged 24 and 22 at the time, founded the comp🌼any in Vallée de Joux in Switzerland. For so♚me time, the two watchmakers worked closely together without formalising their partnership legally. The trademark of Audemars Piguet was hence officially registered in the year 1882.

To pay tribute to the founder of the brand and show the brand's respect for its hundred-year-old lineage of traditional watchmaking, Audemars Piguet launched the Jules Audemars collection in 1997. The collection is distinguished by a timelessly elegant round case and a streamlined bezel. This sophisticated design is undoubtedly the brand's dedication to the most refined co🌜llectors.
