• automatic winding movement • gilt chapter ring with applied 18k yellow gold star and baton indexes, dauphine hands, center seconds, the center with polychrome cloisonné enamel depicting the Zodiac Leo over an orange and yellow background • 18k yellow gold circular case, down turned lugs, screw down case back • case, dial, and movement signed

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall very good vintage condition. Scuffing and light scratches consistent with age and use. Small dents at edge of case bezel at 5 and 7. diagonal crack in case band below the upper right lug. Crystal is in overall very good condition with a small crack at 12. Crystal also has light surfacing markings throughout. Dial in overall very good condition with some very small surface dots at the center enamel. Light oxidation may have occurred where enamel meets gilt chapter ring. Movement in excellent condition.
