Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall excellent condition with very light surface wear consistent with occasional use. Dial and movement in excellent condition.

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin confirming sale on December 22, 2013, instructional booklets, one leather bi-fold, a presentation box with watch winder and accompaniments, one additional watch form, and outer packaging.
Ref. 5140 was launched in 2006 and initially produced in pink gold. It was later made in yellow gold in 2007 and white gold in 2010. The Ref. 5140 replaced the popular Ref. 3940 w🐭hich was in production for 20 years. T🎶he 5140 is 1.2 mm larger than its predecessor.
