Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount in places along the upper edge. The sheet is gently time-stained and there is some mount staining visible along all four edges, not visible when framed. There are some spots of studio dirt to the sheet and some minor foxing in places. The upper edge is slightly unevenly cut and there is some possible restoration on the upper left and right corners. There is a thin crease relating to a tear to the centre of the right edge and a tiny tear to the upper part of the right edge. There are some further creases to the lower left and right corners and some minor rubbing to the paper surface above the figure's hat. This work is in overall good condition.
