Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a slightly discoloured varnish. UV examination reveals small intermittent retouchings along the upper edge and to the sky, all of which could be reduced significantly by a restorer. There are some fine lines of stable craquelure in places, predominantly to the lower right quadrant. The colours are bright and fresh and this work is in overall good condition and would clean well.
