Condition

The board is stable. There is a layer of milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating; however examination under UV light reveals a spot of re-touching to the lower left quadrant (approx. 5mm long) and one to the right shoulder of the guard (approx. 1cm. long). There is a spot of paint loss towards the centre of the lower edge and another to the lower left corner. There are tiny nails visible at the centre of each edge, some paper remnants to the centre of the upper edge and the upper right corner, associated with previous mounting. This work is in overall good condition.
