Acquired by the present owner in 1964

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount at the upper two corners and floating in the mount. All four edges are slightly unevenly cut. The sheet is lightly time stained and there is a flattened diagonal crease across the upper right quadrant. There are some further smaller creases in places. There is a repaired loss approximately 1cm wide to the left part of the lower edge. There are a few small stains (probably studio) in places and some tiny spots of foxing predominantly to the lower left corner. This work is in overall good condition.
