Executed on thin cream laid paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount at the upper two corners and floating in the mount. All four edges are deckled. There are a few tiny nicks in places along the extreme edges, and there are small scattered spots of foxing, most prominently to the un-painted part of the composition. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there appears to be some surface abrasion to the upper left quadrant. There are some fine lines of flattened creases in places. This works is in overall good condition.
