Acquired form the above by the present owner in 1964

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and taped to the mount in three places along the upper edge and floating in the mount. The sheet is slightly time stained and there are some scattered spots of foxing throughout. There are some flattened creases to the sheet, most prominently to the upper right and lower right corners as well as a crease of approximately 10cm. from the centre of the left edge to the sitters proper right shoulder. There are three small repaired tears to the left part of the upper edge, the centre of the lower edge and the lower part of the right edge, the longest of which is approximately 2cm long. There are a few very minor tears to the right edge and two small scuffs to the lower part of the sheet. This work is in overall good condition.
