Condition

Executed on cream wove paper and laid down on board. The sheet is slightly time stained and there are scattered, small spots of foxing throughout. There is an irregular restoration to the sky in the upper right quadrant (approx. 1 square centimeter). There are several repaired tears running from all four edges, notably to the upper corners and the centre of the upper, left and right edges. There is a small paint loss to the hips of the bather at the lower centre of the composition and there is some stable shrinkage to the bather towards the lower right corner. This work is in overall stable condition.
