Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV reveals some scattered spots of retouching to the sky, some vertical lines of retouching to the upper right edge and a spot to the centre of the right edge, and some spots of retouching to the upper left corner. There is a diagonal line of retouching (approx. 3cm) to the water beneath the hull of the far right boat. Very minor undulation to the upper right corner. Some minor stable craquelure, some to the third mast, and minor shrinkage to the cream pigment on the left of the composition.This work is in overall good condition.
