Condition

The elements are secure. Examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There is a minor residue of light varnish around the central element. There are some fine lines of craquelure to the composition and there are some additional lines of craquelure around the left edge of the relief element, where it is attached to the wooden mount. There are two spots of pigment loss to the centre of the left edge and a further tiny spot of pigment loss to the centre of the upper left and right edges. There is a dent to the right side of the relief and two more flecks to the extreme tips of the left part of the relief. There is a small speck of surface dirt towards the lower and right centre and some further surface dirt and dust consistent with age. This work is in overall good condition.
