Condition

Work is in excellent condition. The canvas has not been lined. The surface is nicely textured and the colors are rich and vibrant. Minor old frame abrasion is apparent, notably in the corners. There is a nailhead-sized loss to extreme edge at top left and some shrinkage visible in the red pigment of the claw at top center. Under UV: no inpainting is apparent.
