The canvas is unlined. There are some hairline instances of craquelure scattered throughout the composition and one surface abrasion extending inward from the center of the left edge through the figure's proper left arm. Artist pinholes at all four corners and some minor frame abrasion around the extreme perimeter. Surface is slightly dirty. Under UV light: a few thin lines of inpainting are visible in places around the extreme perimeter, likely to address prior frame abrasion. Another small spot of inpainting towards lower left corner and two pindots below the figure's left elbow. Some sensitively applied inpainting along the horizontal abrasion previously mentioned, and two further pindots of retouching on the drapery below the figure's stomach. Otherwise, fine. This work is in good condition.
