Condition
The canvas is unlined. Surface is richly textured. A small surface abrasion just above the crook of the figure's right elbow. Some pigment shrinkage in the black lines near the lower left and a few stable horizontal lines of craquelure scattered throughout. There is a pin dot of pigment loss near the right edge at center. Under UV light a few scattered pin dots of inpainting around the extreme perimeter likely to address prior frame abrasion. Several thin lines to the figure's left arm, two thin vertical lines towards the upper left corner, a few small strokes towards the lower right corner, as well as a thin vertical line of inpainting near the lower right corner at the very end of the signature. In the lower left quadrant, some dots and thin lines of inpainting near the center of left edge corresponds to an area of disturbance on the back of the canvas. A few further horizontal lines on the figure's right knee and left foot. Otherwise fine. Overall this work is in good condition.
