Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a layer of milky varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however UV examination reveals a few intermittent strokes of retouching to all four extreme edges. Some gentle undulation to the canvas to the lower left quadrant. Some very minor stable crauquelure to the brown cloud in the upper center. There are artist's pinholes to all four extreme corners. A spot of paint loss to the upper part of the left extreme edge. This work is in overall good condition.
