Condition
The canvas is lined. A minor repair is visible to the extreme bottom left. Faint, stable lines of craquelure visible in the horse's hindquarters. Under UV light a thick layer of varnish is somewhat difficult to read through, however a few specific areas of inpainting are visible: a few broad strokes in a 3 inch by 6 inch area towards the bottom left corner, a 4 inch horizontal stroke at the top of the horse's left front leg, 3 round spots 1/4 inch in diameter below horse's nose, as well as a couple lesser spots to the upper right corners and along the lower left edge. Some extremely thin and judicious lines of possible inpainting to the aforementioned areas of craquelure. This work is in overall good condition.
