Condition
This work is in very good condition. The canvas is unlined and the edges are reinforced with tape. The colors are bright and fresh and the surface retains a lively impasto. There are faint vertical lines of craquelure scattered in places, primarily in the sky. Under UV light: several small pindots of retouching are visible at the top edge near center left. Two dots and small line in the sky near center right edge. A small area of small dots and lines about 2 inches high extending vertically up from bottom edge towards lower left corner. Three pindots in the water, several inches above previously mentioned area, and a further group of 3 pindots in between the 2 central aforementioned areas. There are 1 or 2 other scattered pindots of retouching closer to the edges. Otherwise, fine.
