Condition
Executed on cream colored wove paper laid down on board. The board is affixed to a mount along its top edge on the verso. The edges of the sheet are deckled. The colors are bright and fresh. A 1 inch repaired tear extends from the top edge near upper left corner. There is a mat stain which runs around the perimeter of the sheet about 1 cm. in width. A watermark visible near center of top edge. Small surface stain at right edge, towards lower right corner. In the trunk of the largest tree, as well as in the standing male figure's jacket, there are several small spots of abrasion to the surface. A few other spots of this abrasion are visible elsewhere but they are primarily concentrated in the previously mentioned area. There is a small discolored repair to the left of the top of the most prominent tree trunk. There may be a few additional pindots of loss in the white breeches of the jockeys. Otherwise fine. This work is in good condition.
