Description
- Sapphire, Diamond, Platinum
Each centring on a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 21.69 and 21.23 carats respectively, embellished with pear-shaped diamond together weighing approximately 5.70 carats, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Gübelin and SSEF reports, both sapphires are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, and SSEF report further states that the colour of the 21.69 carat sapphire may also be called "royal blue" in the trade. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, both the sapphires are of medium-strong saturated violetish blue colour, well-matched and slightly spready stone. Under the 10x loupe inspection, the sapphires are moderately included, with fingerprints and tiny crystals inclusions which are not noticeable unless close-up view, and also with silk inclusions which cause the white flash effect when view at certain angle. The diamonds are about G to H colour, VS clarity.
Condition: Platinum mount, overall in mint condition.
