Description
- Diamond, Gold, Crystal
Designed as a stem, embellished with pavè-set circular-cut diamond leaves and thorns suspending a rose-cut diamond together weighing approximately 5.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
Please note that the foliage brooch is illustrated with a rose.
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rose-cut diamond is about G to H colour, and the circular-cut diamonds are mainly about E to F colour (with some H to I colour particularly for the diamonds of the thorn near the end of the stem), mainly VVS to VS clarity (with a few SI 1 clarity). Signed and nummbered, with indistinct French assay marks for gold.
Condition: Karat white gold mount, with minor hairline scratches, otherwise in very good overall condition.

ABOUT LORENZ BÄUMER
Having speꦇnt his childhood in Austria, the United States, Canada and Israel, Lorenz Bäumer was trained as an engineer before delving into the world of high jewellery, drawing inspiration from diversity of the world. His jewels are both innovative and sophisticated, demonstrating ingenious metallurgic finesse, which makes him a celebrated collaborator with luxury brands such as Cartier, Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton. Multi-functionality of antique jewellery is also a subject he revisited. This is particularly evident in the jewel offered here: worn as a brooch or displayed as an objet d'art on its rock crystal stand it gives the owner the chance of appreciating the beauty of it in a dual way.
