Description

  • Sapphire, Diamond, Platinum
Set with an oval sapphire weighing 6.60 carats, flanked by two half-moon modified brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 0.38 and 0.37 carats respectively, to the circular-cut diamond shoulders, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 5¾

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the GIA report, the sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating and the colour appearance is described in the trade as "Royal Blue". Also according to two GIA reports, both the half-moon-shaped diamonds are D Colour, SI1 Clarity. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the sapphire is of medium-deep violetish blue colour, and under the 10x loupe inspection, there are moderate silk inclusions which appear as white flashes when view at certain angle. The circular-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 0.60 carat, F to G colour, VS clarity. Condition: Platinum ring mount, overall in very good condition.
