Description
- Van Cleef & Arpels
- Sapphire, Diamond, Platinum
Designed as a flowerhead, with circular-cut diamond pistils and invisibly-set calibré-cut sapphires petals, the sapphires and diamonds together weighing approximately 22.00 and 1.80 carats respectively, mounted in platinum, signed and numbered N.Y.44020-2, detachable stem fitting deficient.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the sapphires are of medium to strong, intense blue to violetish blue colour. Under the 10x loupe inspection, some sapphires are loupe-clean and some with minor typical inclusions. There are minor abrasions on facet junctions and with occasional tiny pits on facets, but all are not visible to the naked eye. The diamonds are about F to G colour, VS clarity. Signed and numbered.
Condition: Platinum mount and shows signs of normal wear. With some yellowish glue stain between the sapphires, but not noticeable unless close-up inspection. The detachable stem fitting is deficient, otherwise overall condition is good.
