Description

Composed of step-cut sapphires alternating with brilliant-cut diamonds, the front highlighted with brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds suspending an oval sapphire weighing 29.07 carats, length approximately 375mm.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 83394, stating that the oval sapphire weighing 29.07 carats and measuring 20.33 x 14.62 x 10.81mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by SSEF report no. 84332 and Gübelin report no. 16030198, stating that the seven step-cut sapphires at the front weighing from 5.30 to 6.43 carats and measuring from 11.86 x 7.43 x 5.49mm to 9.49 x 9.23 x 7.28mm, are of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Stamped Or for gold on the clasp. Oval sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with some typical inclusions, a few surface reaching, some chips and abrasions; for further details on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Step-cut sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, colour banding, some chips and abrasions; for further information on the stones, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 11.00 - 13.00 carats. Signs of normal wear to the metal. In good condition.
