- Gold, sapphire and diamond
Set with an oval sapphire weighing 8.90 carats, surrounded with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 50, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 84957, stating that the oval sapphire weighing 8.90 carats and measuring 13.91 x 10.76 x 6.54 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
Also accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2008-062155, stating that the oval sapphire weighing 8.91 carats and measuring 13.92 x 10.75 x 6.53mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment.
French maker's mark. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, abrasions and nicks; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 - 2.00 carats. Signs of normal wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 11 grams.
