Set with a step-cut sapphire weighing 71.46 carats, between similarly cut diamond shoulders, size 53.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 82733 and Gübelin report no. 16030072, each stating that the step-cut sapphire weighing 71.46 carats and measuring 23.45 x 18.18 x 16.35mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, the SSEF report together with an appendix letter.
Stamped Pt 950 and Or 750 for platinum and 18 carat gold. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with very good transparency, some minor inclusions visible under 10 x magnification, small abrasions, nicks, chips and minor cavities on the pavilion. Side diamonds bright and lively. Little signs of wear to the metal, in like-new condition. Gross weight approximately 28 grams.
