The front set with cushion-shaped and oval sapphires, alternating with step-cut diamonds, between two lines of brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 410mm, maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 88308, stating that the three central cushion-shaped sapphires weighing 4.88, 5.72 and 8.09 carats and measuring 11.51 x 8.61 x 5.30, 11.36 x 8.11 x 6.33 and 12.50 x 10.03 x 6.12mm respectively, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Inscribed MI 20. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and OR for gold. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, abrasions, nicks and scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 63.00 - 68.00 carats, on average H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with use. Gross weight approximately 94 grams.
