Composed of three large matte gold links of quatrefoil shape, each framing a cluster of 12 collet-set cushion-cut diamonds weighing approximately 35.00 carats, the sides decorated with bands of small round rubies, pierced at the sides and strung on a black suede necklet with a gold buckle, one link signed R. Boivin, with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1960; together with an additional red suede necklet of similar design and three clip fittings of later date. With signed box.

Condition

In good condition with very light nicking and scratching to the gold. Diamonds approximately G-K color, VS-SI clarity. Rubies slightly purplish deep red and well-matched; eye-clean to slightly included. Clips may be removed for conversion to necklace by pulling down on thumb pieces and then pushing outward. The necklets designed similarly to adjustable leather straps and have buckle-form clasps. The black leather necklet ranging from 13-17 inches, the red suede necklet from 12-15 3/8 inches.
