Designed as a feather, set with French-cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.30 carats, accented by round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.50 carats, with French assay and partial workshop marks; circa 1932-1955.
Condition
In good condition with minor surface wear to the metal, not apparent when worn. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity, with some VVS examples. The marks are located near the tip of the feather. Well made and highly sculptural. Pin closure currently missing and could benefit from some minor repairs. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity no. B52609202013 from Belperron stating that the brooch was manufactured in Paris between 1932 and 1955 from a design by Suzanne Belperron. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity No. 160922 from Olivier Baroin stating that the brooch was manufactured by Groené et Darde between 1937 and 1942 for Suzanne Belperron.
