Designed as a bird perched on an upturned hat with flowers, set with numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, accented by rubies and sapphires, gross weight approximately 12 dwts, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Made in France, numbered 27797, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1945.

In good condition. The diamonds range from approximately E-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The rubies are a medium-deep red to slightly pinkish red and slightly included. The sapphires are a medium to medium-deep slightly violetish blue and eye-clean to slightly included. Gross weight approximately 12 dwts. Measures approximately 2 1/4 X 1 1/2 inches.
